  • When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), and the message you write.
  • If you leave a testimonial or review, we may collect and publicly display your first name and last initial, along with your quote.

Information collected automatically:

  • Standard technical information (browser type, general location by IP, pages visited) collected through normal website hosting and security logs.
  • A cookie set by this Site to remember that you have dismissed our cookie notice, so it does not show again on future visits.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services We Use

  • IndexNow — when we publish or update content, our site may automatically notify search engines like Bing so pages can be re-indexed faster. This only shares the URL of the updated page, no personal data.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you submit through our contact form to respond to your inquiry, schedule a consultation if you request one, and keep a record of client inquiries as required for our practice.

How Long We Keep Information

If your inquiry does not lead to ongoing services, we retain contact form submissions for up to 12 months before deleting them. If your inquiry becomes part of an active client record, that record is retained for at least 7 years after your last contact with us, in accordance with Florida’s recordkeeping requirements for licensed clinical social workers (Fla. Admin. Code R. 64B4-9.001).

Your Choices

  • You can decline to submit the contact form, or provide only the information you are comfortable sharing.
  • You can ask us to delete a contact form submission that has not become part of an active client record by emailing devan@devanwebblcsw.com.
  • You can decline non-essential cookies by not clicking “Got it” on our cookie notice.

A Note on Sensitive Health Information

Please avoid including detailed health information in the contact form — it is not a secure, HIPAA-compliant channel for protected health information. A brief note about what brings you in is all that is needed to get started.

Children’s Privacy

This Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site.
